Suburban Commercial Basement Shoring
Constructed an 11-meter deep soldier pile wall with timber lagging and tie-back anchors, delivering a cost-effective temporary shoring system.
Economical shoring systems utilizing vertical steel H-piles with timber, precast concrete, or shotcrete lagging for temporary or permanent excavation support.
Soldier pile walls (also known as Berlin walls) are constructed by installing vertical structural steel H-piles at regular intervals (typically 1.5 to 3.0 meters apart) along an excavation perimeter. As soil excavation proceeds top-down in stages, lagging materials are installed between the steel piles to retain the earth.
Soldier piles offer a highly adaptable, cost-effective shoring solution for dry soils, unsaturated clays, and sites requiring frequent utility penetrations or temporary access.
GRIMTECH combines drilling, steel driving, and tie-back anchor capabilities to construct soldier pile systems efficiently in congested sites.
