Diaphragm Walls for Deep Excavation and Permanent Basement Structures

Heavy-duty, slurry-supported cast-in-situ reinforced concrete walls engineered for extreme excavation depths, high lateral earth loads, and permanent watertight basements.

Overview

Deep Walls Built Panel by Panel

Diaphragm walls (D-Walls) are continuous reinforced concrete retaining walls constructed panel-by-panel deep into the ground using bentonite or polymer slurry support. They serve as both temporary earth retention during excavation and permanent, load-bearing exterior basement walls.

Offering superior structural rigidity, minimal wall deflection, and total water cut-off, diaphragm walls are the industry standard for deep urban basements, underground metro stations, and riverfront structures.
